Privacy Policy
How Celeredge handles personal data on this website, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: 22 June 2026
1. Who we are
This website, celeredge.com, is operated by [Celeredge legal entity name], registered at [registered address] (“Celeredge”, “we”, “us”). For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@celeredge.com [confirm privacy contact / DPO details].
This policy covers the public marketing website only. The Celeredge application (app.celeredge.com) and the handling of client engagement data are governed by your customer agreement and our Trust & Security commitments.
2. What we collect, and why
We keep data collection on this site deliberately minimal.
| Data | When | Why | Lawful basis (UK GDPR / GDPR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aggregate usage statistics (page views, referrer, country, device type) | Every visit, via cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) | Understand traffic and improve the site | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without fingerprinting; it processes request metadata (including your IP address) transiently at the edge, stores nothing on your device and builds no cross-site profile |
| Name, work email, company and anything you write | When you book a demo or email us | Respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo | Steps taken at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)) |
| Server/CDN logs (IP address, request metadata) | Automatically, by our host | Security, abuse prevention and reliability | Legitimate interests |
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or build marketing profiles of visitors, and we do not make decisions about you by solely automated means. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Tools and processors we use
We share personal data only with the service providers needed to run the site and respond to you:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.) — free, cookieless, privacy-focused website analytics; no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. A US provider with global edge processing — see International transfers below.
- Calendly — demo scheduling, when you choose to book a call.
- Microsoft Azure — hosting and content delivery for this site.
- [email / CRM provider used to receive and manage enquiries, e.g. Google Workspace, HubSpot]
Each acts as our processor, or as an independent controller for the operation of its own platform, under appropriate terms. [confirm controller/processor status per provider]
4. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or, for US-based providers, the EU-US / UK Data Privacy Framework where applicable. [confirm transfer mechanism per provider]
5. How long we keep it
- Aggregate analytics reports are retained for [retention period, e.g. 6–12 months]; Cloudflare Web Analytics does not store cookies or per-visitor identifiers. [confirm retention against Cloudflare's data-processing terms]
- Demo and enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to follow up and for [retention period] thereafter, then deleted.
- Server logs are retained for [retention period].
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the GDPR you can ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its processing; and receive it in a portable format. Where we ever send you marketing, you have an absolute right to object and we will stop. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any right, email privacy@celeredge.com.
If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). In the EEA, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
7. Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit and access controls. For how client engagement data is isolated and protected in the Celeredge platform, see Trust & Security.
8. Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to highlight them.
